ALLER-RX® PET SHAMPOO Bathing Tips
These bathing instructions were originally prepared for clients of Guide Dogs of The Desert; they integrate the use of Aller-Rx® Spray, Aller-Rx® Laundry Detergent and Odor Neutralizer. It was our sincere hope that the use of these products would make it possible for someone who could not have an assistance dog in their life due to allergies (theirs or the family’s) to keep that dog in their home.
Over using Aller-Rx® Pet Shampoo or Aller-Rx® Laundry Detergent does not increase its effectiveness. The molecular structure of these two products works better with room around the molecules for oxygen. Over using our Pet Shampoo and Laundry Detergent “smothers” them. Follow directions for best results.
We prefer to bathe a dog in a tub where their feet have as much contact time with the Aller-Rx® as possible. Your dog’s feet are heavy with allergens; they are constantly licking them and reintroducing allergens through their saliva. Wet your dog down and apply enough shampoo to get a nice lather. As with any pet shampoo avoid getting it in the eyes; if you do just flush with plenty of water. If you experience any serious eye irritation consult a professional as you would with any shampoo. After five minutes of working the lather, thoroughly rinse all the soap from your pet. Dry him or her as you normally would. Aller-Rx® Pet Shampoo instantly neutralizes canine, feline and any other protein allergens present and has a residual action.
If you start to experience allergic reaction to your pet between baths simply spray him with Aller-Rx® Anti Allergy Spray. Remember to spray his feet and pads often. You can also dampen your pet with a cloth saturated with Aller-Rx® Spray. Wash your pet’s bedding with Aller-Rx® Laundry Detergent.
Skunk Attack: Bathe your dog as directed above, maybe even twice!! Aller-Rx® Pet Shampoo contains odor-neutralizing technology. Use our Heavy Duty Odor Neutralizer to treat everything your “skunked” dog came into contact with: The car (on his ride home), the couch, chairs, carpet, your clothes, etc. You will see that there finally is a solution to a Skunk Encounter.
