WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS TO THE ALLERGENS WHEN THEY COME IN CONTACT WITH ALLER-RX®

One of the primary building blocks in a protein molecule is a class of chemicals known as Amino Acids. These essentially consist of Hydrocarbon Chains or rings with Carboxylic Acid Groups in one position and Amine Groups N/H2 in another. Amino Groups in general are quite susceptible to degradation, with one of the main components that cause this reaction being Amine Oxide. When this type of reaction occurs to the Amine function of an Amino Acid in protein, the protein molecule is degraded and ceases to function in its normal manner. One of the principal ingredients in the Aller-Rx® formulation is Chlorine Dioxide, which is a ready source of molecular oxygen thus facilitating the conversion of Amine Group compounds to Amine Oxides. This chemical reaction essentially destroys the allergen. Once destroyed in this manner the body no longer has a histamine reaction to the allergen and the “Allergy Attack” is prevented. With other treatments the protein can re-nature after drying. With Aller-Rx® once the allergen is denatured it stays that way.
